Pork chops and green beans in butter
Pork chops, coated liberally in salt and pepper, seared in butter a minute each side, then covered for a few minutes each side over medium heat. Topped with pan juices and red wine, reduced for a minute. Plated with sauteed green beans. Can you achieve the feeling you get after such a meal any other way? All things considered, a very economical means of solving all your problems.
